I just finished reading all of your bio’s and I have to say I am excited about what the Lord is going to do with this amazingly dynamic group of people. It is going to be an honor and a privelege serving alonside of each and every one of you. I was in Delhi, India just a few months ago and the Lord really captured my heart. I had travelled out there with AIM for a 2 week vision trip to see if this is a place in which God wanted me to go back to for future missions, and as you all can see, haha, yep, confirmation to go back has been revealed! 🙂 I can’t even describe India in words, but luckily you all will be fortunate enough to see this incredible country with your own eyes.
These past couple months have been quite a roller-coaster ride with Jesus, but in a good way. It is definately an exciting adventure when you put all your trust, hope, and faith in the Lord. Romans 5:5 says, “Hope does not disappoint us.” That is hope in Christ, and when we trust in Him he never lets us fall flat on our faces. He is always faithful!!! About two weeks ago I moved from the beautiful state of Colorado to Kansas City, Missouri…now, let me tell ya, I did not move for the scenery, or the asthetic appeal, but because the Lord has led me out here…and you know what, God has truly blessed me since getting here to KC. Praise God! I moved because I am in the process of pursuing full-time missions/ministry. I feel led primarily to India and Pakistan.
If any of you have questions or need help, or suggestions, or whateve’ please feel free to give me a call. My cell number is (303) 907-3495….I look forward to getting to know you all more.
Blessings,
-Tom
Hey Tom,
I just hung up from the conference call tonight, and remembered that you said that you had wanted to talk to our parents to let them know that we’re all going to be safe. I don’t live at home, and actually my mom lives in an entirely different city, but I was wondering if it was possible for you to contact her to ease her worries a little. I will send you her contact information. Or, if it’s easier for you, she can call you.
Let me know what’s possible!
Thanks so much =)
Yes Katherine, that would be fine. I know how much parents worry, and I would be more than happy to talk to her about the trip. My cell phone number is:
(303) 907-3495
she can call me anytime! and everybody else, you can call me anytime too, well not like 2 in the morning, but you know what I mean. 🙂
Hi Tom,
What will the laundry situation be like over there? Will we be handwashing our clothes and need to mark them with black markers?
Thanks man,
Matt
Hand-washing, so this is another reason why not to bring too many clothes, it takes a while to wash them. You will be washing your own clothes so don’t worry about marking them, maybe if you want too on the tag or something with your initials but I don’t think we will run into that problem.
Shpakow!! whats up my brother!
I hope India is treating you well? Every one at youthgroup misses you well, me and Coen do lol.
OH! if you have a chance bring me back a taranchula.
