Hi, My name is Jessica but most people call me Jess. I grew up in a very small town known as Blackstone, Massachusettes and didn’t move until I graduated high school. After high school my family and I moved down to Naples, Florida and I started college at Florida Gulf Coast University. I am in my third year now at FGCU, as an Early Childhood Education major. I work party time as a nanny and at a shelter for abused children, which is very fufilling. I love being able to make a difference in the lives of the kids that we take care of. Mostly I am a very easy going person who loves to give back. My favorite things to do are go to the movies and go out to dinner. I enjoy volunteering with programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Students Against Hunger and Homelessness. As much as I love what I am doing here I know that there is so much more more that I could be doing and that God is calling me to do. That is why I am looking forward to going and making a difference in Kenya.
